Welcome to my long overdue summer update. It has been very busy. I mentioned in my last update post that there was more excitement I wanted to share. Well, what’s been keeping me so busy was that I had finally found an apartment! And you know what? It’s right by Amager beach!
There are updates that I will be posting soon! I’ve been slow to get back into my routine after my late summer vacation. In the meantime, you can read the blog post that I’ve written for The Biochemist Blog!

Summer arrived in Copenhagen! I actually got burnt and I’m currently peeling as I’m write this update! Eeesh! It’s now pouring with rain and the temperature has dropped – keeping my fingers crossed for the sun to come back out to play!
This month my tourist experience culminated in bespoke weekends for some visitors! And the end of June marks 12 months since I moved to Copenhagen!
Whoohoo! It’s bank holiday weekend here (Monday 5th June is Constitution Day in Denmark)! I’m spending it to catch up with work and to update you on how my spring has been!
The highlight of April was my Easter holidays! I spent the the majority of my annual leave down under, in Australia! Here are some photos for you to browse through.
It’s May and I’ve finally got some time to give you my long overdue update from March! It was a hectic month and since then I have been able to catch up with most of my friends in person so the urgency for writing the update decreased over time. Still, it’s nice to show you some photos and tell you what’s been going down!
The update on my adventures from March will have to be postponed a bit more! I’ve just moved apartments and I’m about to go on a long Easter holiday so I don’t have much time between settling into the new place and getting experiments done, grants in, conference applications and papers written at work. The update will get done!
Meanwhile, here’s a pic of a luxury hot cross bun from M&S on one of the hospital plates at work:
Mmm, gonna buy more of those! Have a good Easter everyone!
