March update postponed

The update on my adventures from March will have to be postponed a bit more! I’ve just moved apartments and I’m about to go on a long Easter holiday so I don’t have much time between settling into the new place and getting experiments done, grants in, conference applications and papers written at work. The update will get done!

Meanwhile, here’s a pic of a luxury hot cross bun from M&S on one of the hospital plates at work:

Our recently published work from the Wickström Group at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing has just been recommended in F1000Prime as being of special significance in its field by F1000 Faculty Member Ronen Zaidel-Bar!

ISMB Junior Council Member

International Society for Matrix Biology

I’ve been officially elected to be the new Junior Council Member for the International Society for Matrix Biology! I am hoping that my experience would enable me to help other junior researchers with the skills required for PhD studies and working in academia. Planning on using my networking and communication skills to keep in touch better with new and existing junior ISMB members!
